Your team coordinator will contact you this week if you are needed for the team.  This is a home gala vs Templemore, with warm up at 5.30 pm sharp. 
It is important that everyone contributes to the refreshments after the gala, so could girls please bring sandwiches and boys please bring buns.

Well done to those that went to the recent Swim Ulster Burns Qualifying Meet - there were great PBs achieved, with some winning a top 3 spot in their age group!!
It's also really brilliant to see more swimmers take on those longer 400+ events.
Congratulations to to Conor Poucher, who broke two B group records and gained an Irish Age Groups Division 1 time for 1500m freestyle.  Ciara also achieved a Division 1 time, with Hannah and Lauren being a smidgen off Division 1 times.

Well done to the shed-load of swimmers who travelled to Ballymena last weekend for the Swim Ulster Development gala.  The results were fantastic - everyone got at least 1 Personal Best time, with most getting PBs in all their events. And lots of you achieived top 3 placings and times for the Swim Ulster Qualifying galas and Irish Age Groups Division 2.  Check out the full results on the "Results & Times" page.

Huge congratulations to Cian McConvey who has been selected for the Irish U14 water polo team!!  He will be travelling to compete in Wales in February.
Also Congratulations to Len McKevitt who has been invited for trials for the National Lifesaving squad in February.  If he qualifies he will be representing Ireland at the Indoor European Championships in April!
Way to go guys!!

Well done to all of those that took part in recent schools galas.  There were some great PBs - and congratulations to Ciara who won the 50m backstroke bronze at the Grammar schools gala in November.
Big congratulations to Conor Poucher who qualified for the Swim Ulster Schools special weekend training camp to be held in England sometime in March/April - excellent news!!

Well done to Laurence, who was in Wales recently representing Ireland in the International Winter DSE Champs in Wales.  Laurence had great swims, with a fantastic PB & finals place in 100m backstroke.

Big congratulations to Cathal Kearney who swam at the Irish Minor Schools gala in December.  He had a brilliant 50m breaststroke swim to claim the gold medal in a time of 44.29 (preliminaries 45.36).  He was also looking to be on form for a gold in 50m freestyle after he came top in the preliminaries with a time of 33.10, but was unfortunately disqualified in the final.  Super swimming Cathal - congratulations!
